Happy Tuesday! Hope you all have had a good start to the new week. Tuesday is here & FairFax are here too with our regular weekly series: Tuesday Tips.
For a while now, you’ve been drying your hair with a towel when you step out of the shower. Right? But you may be doing it all wrong, all this while.
Your hair is one of your most precious & delicate assets, & you want to keep it healthy at all times. But, do you know that drying your hair with a regular & rough bath towel can seriously damage your hair? Read on to know how to dry your wet hair properly without causing any damage.
Rubbing your wet hair with a towel can lead to excessive hair breakage, hair fall, split ends & frizz. The thick fibers of a regular towel when rubbed on the hair actually do more harm than good.
It is recommended that you just pat dry (blot) your scalp & hair with a soft towel (or even a clean cotton T-shirt) instead of rubbing. Just wrap it & leave it for 10 minutes, so that hair doesn’t lose its moisture. Rubbing with a rough towel may permanently harm your beautiful hair. Take a soft towel (a microfibre one if you got one) & dab your hair gently. Instead of using a blower, air drying is the best way to let your wet hair dry.
