As you know, every week on Saturday, FairFax post one easy but stunning hair-do that you can manage at home.

Braids and buns are always in trend. What’s better than merging them into braided buns? The style options are never-ending. We have brought you one such amazing hairstyle – Double Braided Buns.

Double braided buns are fun, popular, eye catching & comfortable. You can make this hairstyle as a style statement this monsoon. Try this out for glamorous parties or a casual movie night. It suits all types of hair, even the 3rd day unwashed greasy hair you have no time to wash – let the bun come to your rescue. Read on to know how to achieve this look.

Step 1. Comb your hair & remove tangles if any.

Step 2. Part your hair down the middle into two equal halves & secure one side away so you can keep everything neat.

Step 3. Start with the left side of your hair. Flip your hair (head upside down) & separate a small section of hair at the nape of the neck. Divide it into three parts & create a simple French braid.

Step 4. When you reach the top of the head, secure it with hair elastic. Gather the hair from the front and secure to create a high ponytail.

Step 5. Start again on the other side of your hair and repeat the steps.

Beautiful Double Dutch Braid

Who doesn’t love to rock a gorgeous new do? Trying a new hair style is the easiest way to a fresh, new look. Grab your brush & follow along! This hairstyle is quick & easy. Not only perfect for daily wear, but an awesome no-heat style that’s great for the gym too. It is incredibly easy to achieve & doesn’t take too much time either. Read on to learn how to DIY this look.

The Double Dutch Braid

Step 1. Start with a really clean center part that runs along the back of your head & extends down to your neck. Take a line directly from your nose up and do it in one swoop to get a perfect part.

Step 2. Once you have a clean center part, take the left section, twist it up, and secure it with a clip.

Step 3. Now start with the hair of the right section. Divide hair into three sections & weave a beautiful Dutch braid. To create a Dutch braid take a bit of hair from the left side (to add to the section already created) & cross it over the middle section. Now take some hair, combine them with the right section, cross it over the middle section and continue.

Step 4. Braid it all the way through. Once you’ve reached the nape of the neck, finish it with a regular braid all the way down to the end and secure it with hair elastic.

Step 5. Repeat the same steps with the other side of your hair. That’s it – you’re done!

Upside Down French Braid Bun

Knock Knock who’s there??? It’s Saturday, Satur-Yeah! The weekend is finally here.

And it is time for our weekly series:Saturday Style. As you know, every week on Saturday, FairFax post one easy yet stunning hair-style that you can easily manage at home.

Are you stuck in a rut with your hair, repeating the same boring hairstyle over & over again? We know that the Top-knot isn’t just a classic style; it’s also perfect for second- or third-day hair. But sometimes even the most perfectly executed Top-knot can look not-so-impressive. Switch your typical bun with a cool upside down reverse french braid!

Creating this chic and trendy up-do is a no-brainer. All you need is a couple of hair elastics, a few hair clips, & some bobby pins.

Follow these steps to achieve this look:

Step 1 – Grab a triangle-shaped section from the crown area of your head & clip it away (for use in step 6).
.
Step 2 – Flip your hair (head upside down) and brush all the hair downwards.

Step 3 – Separate a small section of hair at the nape of the neck and divide it into three sections – these will form the braid.

Step 4 – To create a french braid take a bit of hair from the left side (to add to the section already created) & cross it over the middle section.

Step 5 – Now take some hair, combine them with the right section, cross it over the middle section and continue.

Step 6 – Braid it all the way through. Once you’ve reached the crown area of your head, take the hair that’s been clipped at the top (in step 1) and add it to the braid.

Step 7 – Turn your braid into a messy bun and tie the braid and secure all the hair with hair elastic and few bobby pins.

Step 8 – Finish off your hairstyle with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional). That’s it — you’re done!

The upside down braid bun is stunning and the perfect way to dress up with any outfit or rock this versatile hairstyle in either a casual or formal way.

If you have short hair & feel that there is not much you can do with it, you are so wrong. Short hair is so easy to style & there are many cool ways you can style it to make them look incredible. If you’ve got short hair, then this one’s is absolutely perfect for you!

Today’s up-do is a Cool Half Up Top Knot. This half up knot bun is super quick & easy to do. It’s great for an effortless look (because it’s really effortless!) & one of the more wearable styles.

Follow these steps to achieve this look:

1. Comb your hair backwards from the front.
2. Grab a section of hair from the front of each side of your head, from your right side above your ears.
3. Take it towards the back of your head where you want the knot to be.
4. Hold it, twist it, turn it into knot or little bun & tie it with an elastic band.
5. Tuck the ends under, and pin the knot in place with 2-3 bobby pins.

This adds glam & provides your hair with a stylish look that regular short hair can’t. You can style it with any outfit & you are ready to go!

Its the weekend & FairFax are also here with the next post of our weekly series: Saturday Style. As you know, every week on Saturday, we post one easy yet fabulous hair-do that you can practice at home & try out next week.

And today’s hairdo is a very cute one. The Super Cute Bow Hairstyle – A perfect way to accessorize your hair without using any hair accessories! This hairstyle is not only perfect for casual outings but it also works great for meetings or a girls’ night out. You muuuuuust give this a try if you haven’t already.

Believe it or not, the bow hairstyle is easy to master & wearing it, you will look no less than a princess. All it takes is a little practice, a few bobby pins, an elastic band for hair & hairspray to set your hair.

Follow these steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Comb your hair first.

Step 2: Take a section from the right and a section from the left, bring them both section and tie them with hair elastic. But when you get the last loop. Pull your hair halfway through it.

Step 3: Now take that loop section & divide it in two parts to create the two ends of the bow.

Step 4: Take one side of the bow, spread it a little & secure it with a one bobby pin going downwards from the top, & another one going upwards from the bottom. Repeat the same for the other side also.

Step 5: Take a small portion of hair from the ponytail & roll it on the middle section of the bow to hide the hair elastic and secure with a bobby pin just under the elastic.

Flower braids are the gorgeous & stylish hair trend that will easily fit into any casual or formal gathering, an evening party or romantic dinner date.

This hair style seems difficult & complicated but actually it is quick, easy to style & perfect for every occasion. All it takes is a little practice. So are you excited to learn how to make this beautiful Flower Braid Hairstyle? Read on.

You will need: A few bobby pins & elastic bands for hair.

To create this look, follow these easy instructions.

Step 1: Comb your hair first.

Step 2: Take two sections of your hair, one from each side, just from the back of your ears.

Step 3: Put the sections into a small pony in the back by securing it with an elastic band. Then, braid the pony all the way down as you would normally do, & tie it with hair elastic.

Step 4: Now slightly pull at sections of your braid to loosen it & to make it look more voluminous. This will help in creating the flower-petal finish.

Step 5: Take your braid & roll the braid at the back of your head to create the flower. Hide the end of the braid under the flower and secure it with a few bobby pins.

Step 6: Let the rest of the hair flow freely down your neck, shoulders & back.

Hands down, braids are one of the most versatile hair-dos that our team thinks can never go out of style. French braid is a hairstyle that is easy, elegant, casual & absolutely perfect for summer. It keeps your hair sorted, tangle free & gives a smart & chic look.

You won’t believe how easy this hairdo is, & your friends won’t believe you did it yourself. All it takes is a little practice.

Follow these steps to achieve this look:

– Comb your hair first. Gather the top centre section of your hair & put an elastic band around it. This will form the central part of your braid.

– Take a section of your hair from each side of this central section & cross them over the middle part.

– Take a bit of hair from the left side (to add to the section already created) & cross it over the middle section.

– Now take some hair, combine them with the right section, cross it over the middle section and continue.

– Repeat these steps till you reach at the end of your neck. Bring the remaining hair around your shoulder and finish it with a regular braid.

– When you reach the end of your hair, secure it with an elastic band.
