Enthralling Warrior Braid

It is finally the weekend! The hectic, slow, tiring week is over. Make, Braid, Slay! Perhaps if you want to experiment with your hair it may be a nice touch to add to your overall look. Check out the next post of our weekly series: Saturday Style in which we will post one easy and chic hairstyle for you that you can easily create at home.

Today’s hairdo is a tremendous hairstyle. We call it “Warrior Braid Hairstyle”. Give your hair a complete makeover with this fun party hairstyle that is so easy to create that will also help us draw attention wherever you wear them. You’ll look effortlessly chic in just a few minutes. All it takes is a little practice, elastic bands for hair & hairspray to set your hair (optional). Follow these steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Comb your hair & remove tangles if any.
Step 2: Make a deep side parting in your hair and create two sections under the parting.
Step 3: Clip the top section up. Divide it into three parts.
Step 4: French braid the lower section from the front to the back of your head. Continue braiding the section until the tips and secure the braid with a hair tie.
Step5: Unclip the other sections and repeat the same steps. Use a comb to push down the flyways.
Step 6: Finish off your hairstyle with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional).

Oh yeah! Finally, the week is over, and the weekend is here! Time to party! Go out with your friends and paint the town red! Beautiful hairstyles aren’t always achieved at the salon. Check out the next post of our weekly series: Saturday Style in which we will post one easy and chic hairstyle for you that you can easily create at home.

Today’s hairdo is a tremendous hairstyle. We call it “Double French Braids”. Whether you’re off to a formal occasion or simply headed to work, this easy hairstyle for long hair is sure to draw compliments wherever you wear them, double French braids hairstyle are for you. You’ll look effortlessly elegant in just a few minutes. All it takes is a little practice, an elastic band for hair & hairspray to set your hair (optional). Follow these steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Comb your hair & remove tangles if any.

Step 2: To creating a double french braid, do the center parting and secure one side of the hair.

Step 3: Take out a triangle section of your hair and divide it into three equal sections (right, middle and left).

Step 4: Now take a section from the right side of this central section & cross them over the middle part. Then take a bit of hair from the left side (to add to the section already created) & cross it over the middle section.

Step5: Take some hair, combine them with the right section, cross it over the middle section and continue.

Step 6: Repeat these steps and braid it all the way through to the end and secure it with a hair elastic.

Step 7: Pull gently the sections of your braid to loosen it & to make it look more voluminous.

Step 8: Finish off your hairstyle with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional).

Oh yeah! Fun time begins… Finally, the week is over, and the weekend is here! How’s the day been going so far? Have a great weekend, lovelies! We’re once again here with the next post of our weekly series: Saturday Style. As you know, every week on Saturday, we post one easy yet superb hair-do that you can practice & easily try out at home.

Today’s hairdo is a tremendous hairstyle. We call it “Side Swept Dutch Braid”. This hairstyle makes you look pretty, chic, trendy & stylish for any occasion – be it a wedding ceremony, party, or any casual outing. You’ll look effortlessly elegant in just a few minutes. All it takes is a little practice, a few bobby pins, an elastic band for hair & hairspray to set your hair (optional). Follow these steps to achieve this look.

Step 1: Comb your hair.

Step 2: Take a comb & start creating a deep left side part all the way down.

Step 3: To create a side-swept dutch braid, gather a small section of your hair on the left side of the part near the hairline and divide it into three equal sections (left, middle, right).

Step 4: Take the left section of hair & cross it over the middle section, then cross the right section of hair under the new middle section.

Step 5: Braid it all the way through to the end and secure it with a hair elastic.

Step 6: Now wrap the braid around the nape of the neck and secure it with 2-3 bobby pins.

Step 7: Finish off your hairstyle with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional).

Loose Braided Updo

Saturday is here again! While you’re busy figuring out gazillion things about your look for any special occasions like wedding, we’ll give you one less thing to worry about: your hairstyle. It’s quite possible to get overwhelmed with the numerous options out there for Indian hairstyles. Check out the latest post of FairFax from the weekly series:  Saturday Style in which we post one easy yet superb hair-do that you can easily practice at home and you will totally rock your look!

This hairstyle is both classic & easy that you can achieve it all by yourself in just a few minutes which when pair with some statement earrings gives you a million dollars look.  We call it-“Loose Braided Updo”. Read on to learn how to DIY this look.

Comb your hair well to remove any knots before you begin.

Step 1: Start by curling your entire hair with curling iron. Take the front bangs and set it aside. Now, section your hair into 4 sections. (Top, left, right side, and back)

Step 2: Now section the top crown area and slightly tease them to get the desire height. Make sure the crown area is smoothed out nicely, and then secure it with 2-3 bobby pins at the back of the hair. Then spray crown area with hairspray.

Step 3: Roll strands of hair in the back and pin it towards the center. Pin up all the hair in the back.

Step 4: French braid the top right section of the hair and secure it with hair elastic band. Similarly repeat the same process with the left over section of hair on the left side. Loose the sections as you like to make it more voluminous.

Step 5: Secure the braid of right side to the top back and make sure it’s hidden underneath the other pinned hair. Do the same to the braid of left side. Add glamour to the hairstyle by using hair accessories.

Step 6: Now, keep your hairs looking perfect with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional). That’s it – you’re done!

This hairstyle is a perfect updo for you to show off your personality and enhance your look. It may look complicated, but this stylish hairdo is quick and easy to style. You can achieve it all by yourself in just a few minutes. We call it-“Rope Twist Bun Hairstyle”. Read on to learn how to DIY this look.

Comb your hair well to remove any knots before you begin.

Step 1: Part your hair from the centre all the way from your forehead to the nape of your neck.

Step 2:  Starting from one side, at the hairline, gather your hair and begin to twist.  As you continue to twist moving away from your face, add more hair until you reach the back of your neck and secure it with hair elastic, at the back of your neck.

Step 3: Repeat the same process with a twist on the other side also. Divide the ponytail into two sections. Twist the sections to the same direction and cross them to the opposite all the way down and secure it with hair elastic.

Step 4: Now, do the same exact thing on the opposite side. Gently pull on the twists to loosen them.

Step 5: Gather both ponytails in the middle of the back of your neck and begin to wrap them around each other to create a bun. Now, secure it with a 2-3 bobby pins.

Step 6: Keeps your hair looking perfect with a bit of hairspray for hold & support (optional). That’s it – you’re done!
