Hello FairFaxFans,

Tuesday is finally here! How’s your day going so far ladies? We hope you all have had a good start to the new week. If Monday didn’t work out the way you’d hoped? No problem. Here’s how to salvage your week in a healthier way with the next installment of our weekly series Tuesday Tips. Read on to know what this week’s valuable haircare tip is!

It’s no secret that maintaining long, shiny, strong and beautiful hair requires good care. But, one of the most frustrating things about having long hair other than it taking long time to dry is to constantly deal with knots & tangles. Not only it’s time-consuming but can also be quite painful and damaging. If you can relate, then this haircare tips is for you.

Nowadays women usually sleep with open hair. The reason differs from person to person. Some of you feel that you might look prettier sleeping in open hair while some of you feel too exhausted & clumsy to tie hair after a tiresome day. Few even feel discomfort sleeping with tied hair. But leaving hair untied while sleeping leads to tangled hair easily that causes hair fall. So it is suggested to tie your hair before going to bed. Tying can be anything – from a cute loose braid to a simple loose bun. Always use a scrunchies rather than an elastic bands. Be sure not to tie it too tight, as this can also cause breakage at your ends. Braids will pretty up your look with a comfy sleep…So get tying!

Never apply a conditioner on your scalp

By Nirja Jaiswal | Hair Care Blog , Tuesday Tip

Hello Pretty Ladies,

The festive mood is not over yet! How has your day been going so far? It’s Tuesday, that also means it’s time for the next installment of our weekly series Tuesday Tips. Be ready to know what this week’s valuable hair care tip is!

No matter the texture, color or style, everyone wants hair that looks like it has been groomed, and perfected by salons on a daily basis, right? But, it’s even easier to get healthier, happier and more manageable hair with our valuable hair care tips. Especially, with today’s tip that is simple but powerful, which will leave your hair looking healthy, manageable & stylish.

Do you know a hair wash is so much more than just cleaning your hair, it’s like therapy for all of us? It seems almost impossible to think that there are right and wrong ways of doing it as the wrong way of washing & conditioning of hair will damage your hair. Avoid using shampoo directly on your scalp, instead mix it with some water. It’s the scalp that needs the most attention while shampooing because the roots are often the oiliest. Rinse out the shampoo with lukewarm/cold water.

Cleaning your hair is necessary before conditioning. Conditioner helps to smoothens and detangling the hair, which helps to reduce breakage & split ends. Remember never to apply a conditioner on your scalp, as it will make the roots oilier than they naturally are. It’s your hair that needs the hydration and therefore, should be conditioned from the mid until the ends of your hair. Apply the suitable conditioner at the ends.  Leave it for a min and wash off with lukewarm/cold water.

Do share this with your friends/family members. And if you have any Tuesday Tips of your own, feel free to share with us in comments below.
