Hey FairFaxFans,

Tuesday is here, and FairFax are here too with the next installment in the Tuesday Tips weekly series!

Rain brings relief from the blazing hot climate during the summer season. With the arrival of monsoon people feel happy to see the back of the prickly summer heat.

But do you know that Monsoon is the season of bad hair days too. High level of humidity in the air gives rise to several hair problems, which means you need to take extra care of your hair during the rains.

Coconut oil is one of the best natural conditioners for hair. Coconut oil relaxes your mind & body, alleviates stress, & boosts mood. As stress leads to hair loss, oiling helps to control hair fall & boosts hair growth. Regular oil massages can reduce occurrence of split ends, nourish hair from the inside & keep hair looking gorgeous. Oiling not only helps in retaining the color of your hair, but also prevents hair fall/ bacterial infections. Oil application also reduces the risk of lice, treats dandruff & strengthens roots.

Oil your hair at night & shampoo it off the next morning. Your hair will be silky smooth without using a conditioner. Apply oil on your scalp & hair at night, each time you plan to shampoo the next morning. When oiling hair, don’t dump all the oil onto your head; make partitions in your hair, dip your fingers into the oil and gently apply onto scalp. Gently massage your scalp using your fingertips for 5-10 minutes. Or better still use a spray bottle for that easy, non-messy oil application.

Add 3 drops of FairFax to 2 spoonfuls of coconut oil/olive oil to make it even more effective in hair fall control. Keep it on overnight & wash in the morning with a mild shampoo. After shampoo, use 3 drops of FairFax in a liter of water as the last rinse. FairFax contains herbs that are known to control hair loss.
